Inspired by Walker's post about Volunteering in Columbus, I wanted to invite you to a couple of volunteer events coming up this weekend with Columbus Gives Back. All of our events are open to anyone over 21, and we usually go out for food or drinks afterwards. We're a pretty low-key but fun group, and we would love to get even more CU'ers to join us at some events!
Donation Sorting at Welcome Warehouse, 8:45 - 11:45 AM: The Welcome Warehouse is a non-profit, faith based organization that provides a warehouse of opportunities, goods and services to those of us in the Dublin area who are temporarily in need. We will be sorting clothing and other donations so that the items can be distributed to the Warehouse clients.

Furniture Assembly at Furniture Bank of Central Ohio, 10 AM - 1PM We will be volunteering at the Furniture Bank of Central Ohio (formerly MAP Furniture Bank) to help with furniture assembly, donation sorting, and other tasks depending on their needs.

Finally, we were started to help local non-profits through volunteering, so if you have an organization that could use a group of energetic volunteers (or if you just have questions), please let me know! I'm at juliana (at) columbusgivesback (dot) org.
