The 200Columbus Bicentennial Celebrations Committee is urgently seeking volunteers for three exciting events coming up this weekend and next. Please consider donating just two hours of your time to one of these events to help support the Bicentennial Celebration and the great city of Columbus! Below is information about the events and how you can get involved.
The Events:
Asian Festival
May 26 & 27, 10:00am-9:00pm
Franklin Park
Memorial Golf Tournament
May 31-June 3, 2:00pm-6:30pm
Muirfield Village Golf Course
Columbus Arts Festival
June 1-2, 11:30am-10:00pm
June 3, 11:30am-6:00pm
Downtown Riverfront
What you would be doing:
Spreading the word about upcoming Bicentennial events, assisting with 200Columbus merchandise, and having fun at the tournament or festival! All volunteers receive a promotional t-shirt to wear at the event and keep as a token of our appreciation.
Interested volunteers can sign up at http://200columbus.com/get-involved/ or by contacting Jeremy Brown, the Onsite Outreach Project Manager, at jbrown@gcac.org. We are asking volunteers to commit to a two hour block of time but you are more than welcome to sign up for additional shifts if you would like.
