I'm a little lost. I'm not sure what your brother actually wants to do.
Look at attractive members of the opposite sex?
Dance with attractive members of the opposite sex?
Meet fun, interesting strangers?
Drink a lot of alcohol?
Drink good alcohol?
Drink a particular kind of alcohol?
Eat good food?
etc.
Knowing a bit more about what kind of night you're hoping to have might help to narrow down the options a bit.

My apologies - I'm not being very well-spoken or clear - I need to get more sleep...
He would like to drink alcohol - probably a good amount, meet fun interesting people, and be in a cool/somewhat swanky/hip place - a place that has interesting decor bordering on a swanky atmosphere. Is there such a place? Dinner is not a necessity, because he'll be eating prior to this, but I'm sure he'd go to a restaurant anyway.
I doubt he wants to look at members of the opposite sex, and I don't think he'll be dancing (although I guess I did throw in that white man's overbite comment, but that was more to give a description of his "type", and just to be goofy.)
I appreciate everyone's suggestions and people trying to help me narrow it down.

OK. This is a little clearer. Alcohol, meet people, swanky/hip, interesting decor.
I'm with LifeLiberty on this one -- I'm thinking Lindey's, at the bar. It's got a classic/swanky sort of feel to it; hip, I'm not so sure -- hip and swanky sort of cut against one another a little bit. It might be a little old-school:
But the bartenders know how to pour a drink and make you feel at home, and it's a good crowd, usually not twentysomethings but not cougarific either.
Burgundy Room's a good choice too, though they're much more about wine, and the atmosphere's less conducive to meeting people, seems to me. I've never visited 185, so I can't say how it compares.
p.s., tell your brother "go Sox." :wink:

Well, I'm not sure. I have called him twice to find out and he hasn't called me back yet. I do know he started out at 185.
Hopefully nothing bad happened to him on the mean streets of columbus and that's why he hasn't called me back! :shock:

I STILL haven't heard from him...he's probably passed out in a gutter somewhere in Italian Village. If you see a well-dressed New Englander with carefully styled hair laying in the street, tell him to call his sister.
