I think they actually just re-opened after being closed for a few years.

I'm really not sure of the current status. Haven't paid much attention to it when I've been down there lately.

Yea we just moved to the brewery district on Front St so I was trying to find a place with a nice patio within walking distance. I guess I'll just have to walk by one night and see for myself.

Let us know what you find out! :D
Also, Gresso's has got a pretty nice patio if you want to walk in the other direction. ;)

I believe it was replaced with a place called Classics. I went once for lunch, it was pretty nice actually. If you are looking for a Sports bar. Lots of big TV's, and 3 pool tables. Food wasn't terrible either.
Also, Claddaugh and CBC down there have pretty nice patios.

we actually live one block down from Gresso's, we are right by Jimmy V's.
so classic's is open now?

Yes, Classic's is open and like honavery said, it's not bad. I'd give a nod to Gresso's patio though if you're looking to grab a brew, or High Beck Tavern across from Classic's has a small patio out front and pretty good drink prices compared to others.
I think there's still a big chunck of the old Victory's that is still closed up though... anyone know what that's about?
Also - there is MoJoe loung on 3rd and I think they have a patio. Never been there but seems interesting, it's next to Cup O Joe.

If you're close to Jimmy V's, they have a patio. As does Planks on High. And MoJoe has a very nice patio also.
