I'm organizing a benefit reading of "A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant, and A Prayer" for the V-Day organization (http://www.vday.org/about/more-about) working to end violence against women and girls. We are looking for a venue to stage our monologues that will seat an audience of at least 100. Ideally, we would like a venue willing to donate its space for our event because we are on a very limited budget and would like as much of our funds raised to go to our beneficiary, RAINN, as possible.
Anyone have any thoughts or tips?
As a side note, we are also seeking donations of raffle items, buttons, food for our receptions and tee shirts, which we will trade for advertisement on all of our posters and programs.
