Question!

To sell a vehicle in Columbus, do I need to address my outstanding parking violations before I am able to sell my car? Will the lucky soul who buys my truck have any issues with registering the vehicle? I'm fairly certain that tickets are issued to the individual who the vehicle is registered under... as oppose to the vehicle, but want to be certain.

not 100% sure, but I don't think you can transfer ownership of a car with outstanding parking tickets. You'd be better off calling the BMV and asking though.

The tickets are tied to your plate and your drivers license, not the car.

The state does not place a lein on your car.
