He got great support from DeMerit and Onyewu in the first half, but they came out slow in the second and then before they could really get warmed up the game had turned and they were getting tired.. Brazil brought out two subs at once one of whom is Dani Alves who plays for Barca, and also Elano who plays for Man City. We came up with.. Kljestan and Bornstein? Meh.. Casey is ok and did some play for Bundesliga from 2000-2006, but I still maintain my theory that the US got "out-benched"..
Overall though I liked seeing good play out of the Mens team and I'm betting I can expect more good play from them in the future..
Edit: I'd also like to point out that international scouts were probably paying attention to the USMNT (and probably US players in general) over the last week.. This will eventually mean more US players playing higher level soccer and more skill being brought back to national team play...
