Urban Scrawl 4: Call for Artists, Volunteers, Vendors
CALL FOR ARTISTS, VOLUNTEERS, AND VENDORS
URBAN SCRAWL IV, SATURDAY August 28th, 2010
12pm – 8pm
The Franklinton Arts District is currently looking for participants to make our fourth annual Urban Scrawl event a success. Urban Scrawl is a one-day festival that features the live creation of murals by local artists. It also features live music organized by the Columbus Music Co-Op, arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, a children’s craft and game area, break dancing, and a skateboarding competition. The event is held in Dodge Park, Columbus’ first skate park, along the Scioto River overlooking downtown Columbus.
The Franklinton Arts District is a group of creative and diverse people committed to fostering a vibrant arts community in historic Franklinton by providing bold and innovative opportunities to artists and art enthusiasts.
Volunteers are needed to help assist in setting up, tearing down, and cleaning up. Please consider signing up for a 2-hour shift and helping us bring together this exciting event.
