I'm really excited about this event! Anyone considering starting a business should take advantage of this chance to learn from some of Central Ohio's leading entrepreneurs. It's start-up advice from people who've followed a passion, found a niche, or used new media as a platform for success.
Our panelists are:
Walker Evans of Columbus Underground http://www.columbusunderground.com
Jon Myers of Graphic Conversation http://www.graphicconversation.com
Amy Turn-Sharp of Little Aloutette http://www.littlealouette.com
Amy Dalrymple of Amy D http://www.madebyamyd.com
Jennie Scheinbach of http://www.pattycakebakery.com
Tuesday July 13, 7:00 - 9:00 PM
Old Worthington Library
820 High Street
Worthington, OH 43085

Tomorrow PM! :)
It will be fun! (not boring) i promise!
Yes! Fun! I've been working on everyone's intros for this evening, and I'm so impressed by the work all these entrepreneurs have done. There's a lot of expertise to learn from.
I'm really excited about this event tonight. Anyone from CU planning on attending? ;)
...and if you're inclined to tweet any pearls of wisdom from tonight's event, we've assigned a hashtag too!
It's #WL_upstartup
Props to Jeff_R and the Old Worthington Public Library for producing and hosting this event. Met a lot of great folks and learned some new things from peers both in the audience and on the panel.
Looking forward to more of these types of events! ;)
I was going to go, but I was stranded in another part of town. :o(
I thought Jeff did a great job. I was really excited to finally meet some of the other panelists in person.
As always, it's nice to see the range of startups and interests in Columbus that are simmering under the surface.
TheMetropreneur.com will be a fine place to continue these types of conversations.
Wow! What a terrific event. I can't say enough great things about our panelists! They were insightful, inspiring, and authentic.
Thanks to all of you for sharing your stories and your time. I appreciate it, and I know our audience did too!
That was a great panel and we had fun. getting to take home leftover pattycake was sweet!
I know it's probably a huge stretch, but there's no off chance that someone recorded this event and maybe put it up on YouTube is there? I'd love to hear what everyone had to say.

Sorry :(
It would have been nice, but I don't think anyone did. There really were some fantastics insights. Hopefully we can do something similar again.
