A 59-year-old man has been jailed in Gastonia, N.C., on charges of larceny after allegedly robbing an RBC Bank for $1 so he could get health care in prison.

Attend the presentation because their time is lives and your support of their services in invaluable. Find out from people on the street, what they are doing in their work.
Don't Forget to volunteer. This year Clean Up and Recycling is asking families if they would like to staff a recycling station. The kids can direct the public how to separate the garbage. It involves a little walking for the people but it is an emmense help to the C&R team for handling the waste. Only two hour shifts for families.
Brandi Kegley is chairwoman of C&R and a Honored ComFest Volunteer this year. She plans to place over a dozen recycling centers in Goodale Park and they will be setting out trash and recycle boxes also. We noticed that the Park Street Festival placed out Trash and Recycling boxes south of 670. We thought that was a good idea and we are going to do the same. BYOB is a massive challenge. No BYOB please.

With the highest percentage of uninsured residents, Texas would be one of the biggest beneficiaries of President Barack Obama's health care overhaul.
But Gov. Rick Perry blocked moves to lay the groundwork for expanded coverage. And among the alternatives he's supported is an untested regional solution that could put states in charge of Medicare, an approach potentially as controversial as Obama's.

Obama's healthcare law appealed to Supreme Court

Twenty-six states and a small business group appealed on Wednesday to the U.S. Supreme Court seeking to strike down all of President Barack Obama's signature 2010 healthcare law.The states and the National Federation of Independent Business said in separate appeals the entire law should be invalidated because Congress exceeded its powers requiring that Americans buy health insurance or face a penalty.
