That's hysterical!
I'm assuming it's really her - hard to get a REALLY great look in a YouTube vid, but the voice is dead-on, and some of the face shots were decent enough that if it is a fake, it's a really good fake.
articles at Best Week Ever and canada.com seem to buy it as real. Maybe Alanis's April Fools fun?

I bow to her greatness. How she didn't totally crack up while singing that is beyond me.
She really isn't a jagged little pill anymore... although, it wasn't hard to figure out when she made a guest appearance on Degrassi!

I'm almost certain that it's real, and yeah-- I imagine it's some kind of April Fool's shenanigans. The funny thing is that, if it weren't for the lyrics, it could almost pass for a real Alanis song.

Unfortunately, it's just not going to happen...
What blacklash there IS already happened years ago, when Paris first started getting popular, and the same comments (fame for fame's sake, vapid, bad role model, etc, etc.) have continued since...
But that still hasn't stopped so many from wanting to be the spoiled rich princess.
