I'm admit I'm a big nerd and really looking forward to this. I liked the original version and spent many an afternoon of my youth playing that stupid video game.
"It's a 4-D film, because Jeff Bridges brings another dimension of awesomeness!"-Michael Sheen.
I am so excited for this. I wear my nerd badge with pride. :)
Full soundtrack posted on youtube. If you are interested, listen now, it probably will be pulled down.

scene 1437 = awesome!
I'm a bit skeptical after listening to a few...it doesn't seem really to match the music in the trailers, and it seems a bit too dancey for a film score....the first track on that page sounds like it might be legit.
anyone else tired of 3D? everymovie has to do it now. i want 2D and real Disney animation.
More Tron score here. I think this is legit. I'm doubtful about the "leaked" stuff posted above.

That song is awesome sauce
Here we go.

6 minutes, jumps around a bit. Some more "film scorey" sounding bits (strings). Sounds great overall. Officially releases December 6th.
Seeing it tonight, IMAX 3D. Reviews are pretty mixed, although the film nerd sites seemed to like it (slashfilm, AICN, etc.), so I'm pretty optimistic I'll at least find it fun.
I got the soundtrack the day it came out. While I think anyone expecting a new Daft Punk album is probably disappointed, as a film score I think it is pretty fantastic and stands out as one of the years best along with Inception, How to Train Your Dragon, and The Social Network.
I'm excited as hell to see this movie... but on the soundtrack point, I've been digging Kavinsky since the last great Daft Punk tour and I'm having a hard time pulling the Kavinsky influence out of this soundtrack... I know they're joined at the hip and all and I love Kavinsky's stuff- just never expected Daft Punk to shift over that direction.

someone please go see it and let us know if this film is any good.
Three out of the three reviews I've read suggested the best part of the thing was the Daft Punk, and one wasn't even too sure about that. Tron was a huge deal for me as a young geek, so I really want to see it, but not if I'm going to leave the theater regretting losing that 2hours of my life (plus another hour for previews and advertising crap, travel, etc...)
