God damn hippies, get a job!Perhaps some of our jobs are easier and better paying than their (the protesters) jobs ?
Isn't being a protester a job, one that requires not only smarts but also guts ?
Isn't protesting one of many ways to fulfill our patriotic duties ? Think of the American Revolution or the Black Civil Rights Movement.

I'm unemployed?

I'm unemployed?Yeah, I try to make the most of my waiter job and sub teaching. I got to do something to pay bills. I am no where near close to paying the bills with my freelance reporting work. $35 here and $45 there is not enough.
But I remind myself that being unemployed and having to go out and look for a job is itself a job that I enjoy far less than the jobs I currently have. Actually, my waiter and subbing jobs aren't that bad. It's just not the full-bore reporter's life I would like.

Sidenote: Massey Energy is a deeply, deeply horrible company, the owner of which is a bigoted and ignorant little man.

Soldiers and coal miners have guts, protesters most certainly do not.

Good for the tree-sitters. They're not just saving "the environment" ...they're saving surrounding communities, which consist of HUMAN BEINGS.

Dude go protest. You offer nothing, but liberal vile. I have seen where you said you are not even working. Well coal miners are working and are putting food on the table for families, something liberals like yourself rely on the government for. You would not understand because you do not work.

Back on topic, please.
The personal insults have no purpose here.
