Travonna Coffee owner=Registered Sex Offender

It was actually young boys from the sex offender registration; this quote is from page 3:

"Travis and I used to work together in his former career, and until all this went down a few years ago I thought I knew him pretty well.

I do know the details of his crime, the victim(s) (that we know about) were his neighbors and he did often have face-to-face contact with them.

He did plead guilty and avoided jail time.

Also, it is known that he and his partner favored vacations to Bangkok, a city known for, amongst other things, child sex tourism. Circumstantial, I know, but worth mentioning considering the discussion.

All this being said and known, I can't find the voice to say the man has no right to operate a business and try to make an honest living, but I do think the public deserves to know the nature of his crimes, and let that factor into their decision whether or not to support his business.

Since his arrest I've had no meaningful conversation with him, and there is no way in hell I would ever patronize his coffee shop."

So yea, I think I'll choose Starbucks.

yeah, anyway... The major question in my mind... is the coffee any good? 'cause the last time I was in there (under previous management) it was horrible.

Sorry, don't mean to revive a subject that has died a natural death, but I do have to comment on this attack on my credibility.

First, I've met people from this site in person, and I know there are lurkers here who know who I am. I've no reason to lie. I stated what I know. It's not speculation, those are facts, and whatever people want to do with them is fine with me. I don't care enough to judge where anybody chooses to buy their coffee.

Think about it logically. If Travis is reading this, and I would bet a paycheck he is, he probably knows my real name. If what I said was untrue, wouldn't he be here refuting my claims?

You may be correct. But, if someone posted falsehoods like this about me online, you better believe I'd be there in a second, and with a lawyer on standby if it came to that. That's just me, I guess. Lotsa love for a convicted pedophile in this thread. It's kind of a head-scratcher.

I don't consider a reticence to break out the pitchforks and sound the alarm on someone who ostensibly has paid for their crimes, "love". Seems more like common sense, and a second chance I'd like to receive if ever I find myself in a similar situation.

I have considered going to Travonna but wouldn't knowing this. Preying on children is sick behavior. If he served me a beverage I wouldn't touch it. Parents need to be aware of who is trying to gain the trust of their children because these things can happen anywhere.
