12 course dinner not enough?Busted. Well, they were small and I only had two. And I was supporting the taco truck community, so that's a good thing. I'll just have to work extra hard tomorrow preparing that chef's table in the middle of the kitchen.
Plus, I gave the niñas the two bags of Korean candy I picked up from the Asian market. Makes for good relations. :]

So he said, "And they were small". You know, he'll never live that down. :]

ate at junior's friday night for the first time since last fall. Still top notch. I really do think I could eat there everyday.

have you guys reviewed the one at lane and High in the shell station parking lot? I didn't see it on your map on your site but wasn't sure how up to date that is.

The post on the truck at Weber and Pontiac - just went up. That truck opened on June 3rd. There is a bonus hot dog cart across the street.

We are due for some type of CU Taco Truck outing - any requests?

Keep us posted if you see a new truck. There is one on 161 that seems to be open only during the late, late of night. It is parked by Taco Nitos.

Stopped at taqueria Davanne last night (on 5th next to the Shrunken Head). Tacos were $1.30, generous in proportion and very tasty! We had the Carne Asada and the Pastor. The Pastor was sweet with chunks of pineapple. I'm going to be stopping there whenever I'm in the area.

is that next to the BBQ truck?
the Pontiac and weber TT has changed to Los Texacanos. it is a white cart run by Lucy and Julian, who are awesome. I eat there about once a week.

Yep, there's a BBQ truck right next to it (though we haven't seen it open).
Thanks for the info on Los Texacanos.

Every time I have ordered, I have found the wait to be long and the food to be sloppy. It must be a matter of personal taste, but I think Tacqueria Davanne across the street is in a whole different league.

the one thing I really like about Los Texacanos is that they have their phone number up so you can call ahead, they always say 10 minutes. I keep a photo of the menu in my phone, but i think Lucy said they were going to print off some menus, but i dunno. Their jalepeno/green tomato mild salsa is so frickin good and fresh, a lot of times I end up putting both the jalepeno and chili diablo salsas together on what we get, great flavor and nice heat.
