Ooooh, what time are y'all going? I'm thinking a bus ride around Fton will be nice after I cure my hangover at Tommy's :)

I was thinking post-bus cocktails at the Florentine. They got some old timey Chianti in basket form!

hi jim, about how long does the tour last? we are looking forward to it!

Hey Liz, it'll probably take about an hour. There will 2 buses running people around and they should leave Florentine about every half hours. We'll probably trim a couple of houses on the fly to keep it to around an hour.

Just need to figure out where to get lunch while I'm over there...
(I'm trying to make my guides more user-friendly, so I updated my page on Franklinton. Anything missing?)Posted 2 years ago # -
Columbusite, there's a new Mexican restaurant next door to Tommy's to the east, it's called Los Compreros. I haven't tried it yet.

Always fun to poke my head into the neighborhood to see it shaping up. Franklinton is a mixed bag when it comes to residential, but the FDA is doing a bang up job, especially considering the size of area.
I always forget how much commercial space Franklinton has. Just west of the railroad tracks is a commercial block on the south side of Broad and if the western-most building with the arched windows were fixed up it would have more character than most in the Short North. And yes, there is a new Mexican restaurant, but they were closed since it's Sunday.

Thanks for coming guys. And thanks for the kind words. I'm sorry I didn't get to see a lot of you but duty called! I am of course more than happy to give private tours to my CU brothers and sisters.
I think it went very well. people seemed very interested and impressed. Your support means a lot to us.
We'll just tryin to keep it rolling. As a matter of fact we're working this very evening to give the FDA offices a snazzy CDS Construction remodel.
