    Florence & the Machine-Ceremonials-#1-brilliant!!

This was released in 2011 – Wonderful album anyway.

I only have a few on my short list this year, based on what I purchased and heard.

    UFO Club – S/T
    Tame Impala – Lonerism
    MMOSS – Only Children

The Shins album can probably be included, very nice surprise from them.

2012 marked the worst year in music that I can think of. (Since I started caring)

Will have to go through my collection later to see if I can even find 5 worthy mentionables. Right now I can only think of 3.

I would tend to agree with that. I struggled to think of five that were worth buying.

Maybe I’ll just try to come up with a top 10 singles list. Might be easier.

I’m illegally downloading some of these albums (most of which I’ve never heard of) so I feel less old and out of touch.

Actually that firewater disc is called “international orange” and it may have been best album of the year.

It was DEFINITELY tour of the year.

Ouch, that’s rough, out of like 500,000 albums released worldwide in a year you cant find five, time to expand your tastes maybe?

Definitely not my favorite year but sometimes you don’t know its worth buying until you hear it, and how many have we actually heard?
