As a companion to the recently revived thread on Brioso's muffins, I would like to add that Tip Top has great pie. I had some for lunch. It was delicious.

It varies depending on season, my fav was blackberry (amazing crust) and second favorite was cherry with a crumb topping. Nom nom nom. :D

at my grandfather's grocery store we used to have tabs for the customers in the neighborhood so they could come in and get groceries and instead of paying for them the amount would be added to their account kept under the register.
