I missed the first half, started watching the second half, set the VRC to tape it when it aired from 11-1, and then the electricity went out, so everything was screwed.
What I caught of it I liked.

Just finished part one, and have to say...I was really pretty entertained. I think if you stop, from the start, looking at it as a Wizard of Oz remake (with the exception of noting the few cool diversions) and just enjoy the storytelling, they've created a really fun ride.
I'm definitely in for the remainder at this point, even though my DVR is going to be working overtime with Heroes and a 2 part Life this week :)

watched it, liked it, will watch the remainder of the mini-series. great modern/sci-fi remake version.
there's good and bad with it.
love the scarecrow and the way tin man was tortured and came about. the lion is stupid, but I like how he has visions.
munchkins were kinda dumb too.

It was nothing like The Wizard of Oz. I hate the Wizard of Oz. So, I liked Tin Man a lot!
It was crazy how they found the Tin Man... i won't mention how in case anybody hasn't watched it yet. Let me just say, that it would totally stuck to endure that.
I love the imagery. It kind of makes me feel like i'm playing Myst or something.
The only thing is Zooey Deschanel seems to be acting extra campy. I like her alot as an actress and am a fan of hers... something just seems off. I don't get the same campy feel from everybody else.
