Avoiding it like the plague in this household.

I'm avoiding downtown all together, although i will be in grandview tomorrow night.
arnold + obama + UFC = crazytown
anything else going on?

This is going to be a fun weekend.

I used to go the Ahhhnold thing a few years back and no matter how many different venues it was held in, it was always wall to wall people, front to back, side to side, with no room to move but within the sea of bodies. And forget getting to any booths or talking to anyone about anything. Borderline ridiculous. They've even moved part of it to the fairgrounds now, where the Home & Garden Show is still on. Nice we have lots of options, but they're always so concentrated in area that it makes parking a nightmare.
It's supposed to rain this weekend anyway, so maybe I'll finally get to those movies I checked out from the library!

as completely disinterested as I am in this event, I hope everyone has as much love for it as I do because of what it has brought to Columbus over the years.
Thanks Arnold.

Sorry guys, no Arnold Classic for me. Or Pizza Grand Prix. I'll be at the Buckeye Hall of Fame Cafe for The Biggest Loser open casting call.

Thanks Arnold.Agreed. This is not an event that interests me, but it brings a lot of coin to the city.
This weekend's going to be busy.
Now, if I can find a place to park for Gallery Hop tomorrow.

It can sometimes be easier to poke fun at the attendees or complain about the traffic than it is to stop and think about all of the positive indirect impact this event has on us here as residents.
The good folks at the Arnold have been advertising on CU for the past month, so that pretty directly impacts me, and I'm grateful that the event is here in our city. The Arnold is one of the many great organizations that keeps CU running for everyone to enjoy. :D

I'm as happy as can be that they're all here, but I'm still pissed that almost every restaurant in town was packed last night (only the forlorn MoJoe Lounge in German Village didn't have a 45 minute wait - what's up with that place?) Other than that, I have a warm welcome for these Hummers of humanity.

All the UFC fighters and even the one's here to watch are staying renaissance. I would still be cool to meet Brock Lessner or randy C

So to kick off the Arnold, my friend is promoting
Arnold Kickoff Party at Sugar- I want to go somewhere far, far, far away from all this madness.....for dancing. I thought about Get Right, but it is hip hop, so if anyone has suggestions, please let me know.Posted 3 years ago #
