Michael's "Today I..." thread reminded me that I wanted to start up a thread where anyone can post something that they've always wanted to do in Columbus, but have never gotten around to it for one reason or another. Embarrassingly, there are quite a few local institutions that I've continued to miss out on time after time. Perhaps we can even organize a few events/outings if we've got enough people with similar discrepancies from their "things you must do at least once in Columbus" checklist.
Here's a start:
- I've never been to see a Columbus Crew game
- I've never been up to the observation decks in any of the downtown buildings
- I've never eaten from a local taco truck
- I've not yet dined at Black Creek Bistro, Alana's, Rosendale's, Rigsby's, The Top, Blue Nile, M, and a handful of other old and new "staples"
- I've never seen a Shadowbox, Madlab, or Roller Girls show
- I've never been to the Greek Festival, Italian Festival, or Irish Festival
That's all of I've got off the top of my embarrassed head for now. More to come as I think of them.
