Well she is awesome.
I knew we'd find common ground one day.

Writing is SOOOOO much better this year. The little touches, like Rick not speaking a word the entire episode till "hello?", make a huge difference in my level of enjoyment.
Stabbing his wife's head in the belly of a zombie...little over the top freaky for me though.

Yeah, the last few episodes have been some of the best so far. I will admit that I'm glad I've stuck with it to this point, because I've been inches away from jumping ship.
I wasn't entirely clear if Rick's belly stabbing anger was directed at his wife, or directed at at the fully belly sleepy zombie (like he just ate Thanksgiving dinner). Rick going all primal rage was an interesting turn, though I find myself sympathizing with him less and less.
The townsfolk watching zombie gladiator battles was spotted from a mile away in this episode, so it didn't really have much of a surprise to it for me. I do like that we're very slowly peeling away the insanity layers under the Governor. I've heard vague nasty things via the comics and wasn't sure how long it was going to take to really get to the core of this dude's evil side.
Keep it coming.
I was SO hoping the opossum in the day care was a zombie baby. :(
Only twelve weeks till dead space 3 . . .
I so can't wait for Dead Space 3. 2 was awesome.
Hooray! Carol is alive!
Hell yes. This show got good. I don't think I have a single complaint with the newest episode.
Love all of the story arcs. Crazy Rick on the imaginary phone was a wee bit predictable, but very well done. Daryl's story to Carl was delivered well. Him finding Carol was a nice bit of episodic redemption for the story of losing his mom. Michone VS Merle was some nice suspenseful action. And it was nice to end the episode with some positive notes, as I imagine it's going way downhill with Glenn & Maggie being kidnapped.
The last phone scene with Rick was very well done on all sides. Especially well acted by Andrew Lincoln.
I wonder how far down the phone rabbit hole they will go on the show. In the comics he started bringing it around with him everywhere.
"The Dialing Dead"
The zombies in this last episode were particularly juicy. Loved the disemboweled dump on Michonne. Remember in the first season, they got out of that Atlanta dept. store by rubbing zombie gore on themselves? You think the group would have repeated that tactic. But then again, who wants to go through life smelling like a zombie all the time?

There are so many problems with this show in regards to 'reality'.. stealth zombies, etc. but it's good enough to suspend disbelief.

Plus the whole rain thing.
This show really really wants me to buy a Hyundai Santa Fe.
