Just a reminder...

I hope they finally leave that farm. This season hasn't been as good as the first, especially with the lack luster writing. I'm more excited about that new comic book shop reality show than TWD.

TWD's writing continues to stink. So Rick and Glenn go find Hershel, but Lori doesn't have the patience to wait for them to come back (they were gone for only a few hours it seems)?! She goes out on her own and flips the car. Now we have another episode dedicated to searching for a missing person, as if there wasn't enough of that already this season. Weak sauce.
That Kevin Smith comic book shop show was garbage as well. All those guys working at the shop seem like complete assholes. On the other hand, that Asian guy is a spineless jellyfish. He didn't look extremely pleased to be constantly shitted on regardless if they were just joking with him. Of all people to step up and defend him, it was some redneck lookin guy at a flea market. Pathetic.
AMC, just terrible. I miss Breaking Bad.

I just want to know what the hell that scientist whispered into Rick's ear at the end of season 1. I'm guessing its the game changer of the entire storyline. And yes, leave the damn farm.

At least there was a little action but the writing is terrible.

I just laughed inside after "Rene" from True Blood shows up at the end, and then gets killed. That dude just can't catch a break.

haha that's where that guy was from! That wasn't even that compelling. It just seemed kind of dumb.

Was a bit of a "Out of all the bars I had to walk into" moment.

I liked Quickdraw Rick vs. Philly Douchebags, but if I have to watch one more ultra-contrived, damsel in distress after moronic move moment, I may quit watching.
I feel like the entire female cast of The Walking Dead is Skyler White.

I am just happy to know that when the Zombie Apocalypse comes there will still be quiet bars where I can go and have a reflective drink.

Yeaaahhhh...... *sigh*
I really wish they would have opened the episode with the group already on the road, away from the farm. They could show pieces of how that all worked out through flashbacks or dialogue. Instead, we get more bumbling around on the farm, which I imagine will take place through the end of Season 2 (The Farm Season!). Not that I guess the setting is that important, but it's gotten to the point where it feels like it's damaging the pace and the progress of the show.
When the two new guys walked into the bar and started pissing on the floor and talking about how bad they needed some women, I thought "great! more redneck asshole male characters!" but I guess they were just there for Rick to show Herschel that he's the leader and willing to protect their group. A nice neat resolution to Herschel's one hour personal turmoil. Almost sitcom-like.
Oh well. I guess the arm falling off the truck was funny. And there were some guns fired. Hooray for that?

Now that real winter is upon us, I have more of a thermodynamics question on these zombies. We know they're not really energy consumers in general (I mean, they eat flesh to an extent, but they certainly don't appear agile or crafty enough to have a high flesh intake), so how do they generate heat in winter?
At some point wouldn't they risk freezing into a solid mass?

Come to think of it, I've never seen a zombie show/movie set in the winter months.
