So does anyone know anything about this place? New C&G spot opening this summer, members only, sounds interesting for sure.

Haven't received my invitation yet. Should I be checking email or snail mail?

Mike G. posted something about it on Facebook, that's the only way I know of it at all.

Was wondering that too. I saw Mike's FB comment about it too.

Sounds like it could have potential. Wonder where it's going to be.

Why should anyone be interested in this?

Why should anyone be interested in this?C&G have had some great places in the past actually Ro Ro. Spice was excellent (IMO) for several years prior to the bussed in campus crowd, Mekka was the first truly great club I remember in Columbus, Standard Lounge was one of my favorites, etc.

Ha! Sounds like somebody heard Enzo's idea of a pay-to-enter VIP club! :P

So basically, we're looking for him to open a space and not allow any of his current customers to become members, but let all of us in who could count on one hand the number of times we've been to his joints? (Core excluded who has been clubbing since before I was in the womb, haha!) I'm not sure I see that happening. BUT, if it did I'd buy in as long as private doesn't = pretentious as it often times can. Sometimes I like the idea or feel of a loungy, club space, just hate the execution of most loungey, club spaces :)

Thanks. This was all before I moved to Columbus.
I couldn't see a reason to get excited from the website. There's no information.

Enzo you cannot name your bar "The Zune." Microsoft's lawyers are going to have a problem with that.

Whether I go to it or or not, this is good for the local economy.
And yeah, I'd echo what Core said. I've seen just about every great local, national, and international favorite DJ of mine at a C&G establishment (Mekka, RedZone, Fabric, Standard, Global, Spice) over the past 10 years. Sure, the current Saturday-night Sugar Bar crowd isn't exactly my scene, but I'm not about to write off every other great event and great venue just because of that.

OK, those names sound familiar from Sherm talking about his dancing fever days. Obviously waaaaaaay before my Columbus time.
Isn't the million dollar question - will the "invite list" to The Social Room be the same as the "VIP list" to Spice? :)

I hope I can work there and wear costumes, dance and sell memberships! It would be like a dream come true!
