Anyone watching the Sing Off?
I have got to go with the Beelzebubs
Beelzebubs, from Medford, Massachusetts..
Originally formed in 1962 by a group of Tufts men in the basement of West Hall, they named themselves "Jumbo's Disciples: The Beelzebubs," a reference from John Milton's epic poem, "Paradise Lost."

LOVE this show despite being kicked out of my college a capella group because I couldn't read music. Beelzebubs will probably win although Nota is right behind them and may snag it away.

I haven't seen much of the show. However, the Beelzebubs came to Miami University with other regional acappela groups for a concert a few years ago, and they blew me away. I'm not surprised to see them as favorites.

I've been interested for a while in adding an acapella group to my arts program. I found someone to lead it recently, so hopefully we'll be moving forward in the new year. Would anyone from here be interested in participating? I'm leaning towards an all male group, but I might go coed if that's where the energy is.

Anyone watching the expanded new season? After getting into this show, I could never go back to AI, The Voice or X Factor again. The judging and the performances both are so far above anything you see on the other competition shows.
Particularly with groups forming just for the show, you get the feeling that the entire genre is being elevated, challenged and expanded by its moment in the spotlight.
