Tomorrow night:
Anyone making any predictions?

I really want to see Cameron lose Best Director to his ex-wife.
I really hope Jeff Bridges gets best actor. Crazy Heart was amazing and I still find myself thinking about it, a month plus later. I also thought Matt Damon was great in Invictus so I'll root for him for supporting actor. Looking at the list I realize how few movies I saw in 2009.
My predictions--->
Best Picture: Inglorious Basterds
Actor: Jeff Bridges, Crazy Heart
Actress: Meryl Streep, Julie & Julia
Supporting Actor: Christopher Plummer, The Last Station
Supporting Actress: Mo'Nique, Precious- Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire
Original Screenplay: Quentin Tarantino, Inglorious Basterds
Adapted Screenplay: Jason Reitman & Sheldon Turner, Up in the Air
Director: Kathryn Bigelow, The Hurt Locker
Animated Feature: Up
Foreign Language Film: The White Ribbon (GER)
RAZZIE WINNERS:
Worst Picture: Transformers II (a film I need to rent, ASAP!)
Worst Actor: there is a God- The Jonas Brothers
Worst Actress: Sandra Bullock
Worst Supporting Actor: Billy Ray Cyrus
Worst Supporting Actress: Sienna Miller
Worst Screenplay: Transformers II
Worst Director: Michael Bay, Transformers II
Worst Screen Couple: Sandra Bullock and Bradley Cooper, All About Steve
Worst Remake, Sequel, etc.: Land of the Lost
Worst Film of the Decade ALL TIME: Battlefield Earth
Worst Actor of the Decade: Eddie Murphy
Worst Actress of the Decade: Paris Hilton
Best Picture: Avatar (which I don't support)
Actor: Jeff Bridges, Crazy Heart
Actress: Sandra Bullock, Blind Side
Supporting Actor: Should be Woody, but I think Waltz wins it
Supporting Actress: Maggie Gyllenhaal, Crazy Heart
Original Screenplay: Mark Boal, Hurt Locker
Adapted Screenplay: Jesse Armstrong, et al, In the Loop
Director: Kathryn Bigelow, The Hurt Locker
Animated Feature: Up
BTW, Sandra Bullock showing up to claim her Razzie for Worst Actress was too cool.
Best Picture: Hurt Locker
Actor: Jeff Bridges, Crazy Heart
Actress: Sandra Bullock, Blind Side
Supporting Actor: Christopher Waltz
Supporting Actress: Mo'nique, Precious
Original Screenplay: Hurt Locker (should be Inglorious Bastereds though)
Adapted Screenplay: Up in the Air
Director: Kathryn Bigelow, The Hurt Locker
Animated Feature: Up
This year seems to hold little suprises. I would love to see a different movie come out and suprise everyone with a a bunch of awards but I doubt it'll happen.
the only category for which I've seen all the entries is the animated shorts.
SHOULD win=the lady and the reaper
WILL win-wallace and grommit (which was good, but not anything we haven't seen before)
With the exception of the John Hughes tribute, the first hour of this show has not been very good production-wise. I'm very surprised Quentin was upset for Best Original Screenplay.
I'm blown away by how bad Steve and Alec are.
Why are Avatar and Precious winning?! Make the bad acting stop!
Tyler PERRY!? Sheesh.
really? i think steve and alec are doing great.
Here comes the weepy part...
Okay, so we didn't have the song nominees but we have hip-hop ballet for the scores?! I'm confused.
All I know is that I'm adding head spinning to my list of things to learn before I turn 30 :)

perhaps. i've loved Steve Martin since i was 8 years old so i'm probably not a good judge on this one.
Three cheers for Hurt Locker taking Best Director and Best Picture away from that plagiarized mishmash of a digital masterpiece, Avatar!
