I checked the website and the new season will begin on January 14 and 15th. Fox network is doing a 2 night/4 hour season premiere!!! For me, 4 hours in 2 nights of 24 is going to be great :D ! I'm a huge fan of the show so I wanted to share this info with anyone that is a 24 fan!!! 8)

Definitely looking forward to it - the preview posted in the other thread looks AWESOME.
I love the 24 format - delaying the premiere and then running uninterrupted is great. I wish that more shows would do that -- or even better, do a combination of that and what they're doing with LOST this year. Don't interrupt a show with a long "mid-season break", but instead just show two shows w/o reruns during the regular "TV season".
I think the main reason they've done what they did with LOST was they didn't want to miss out on fall sweeps -- but if they had two strong shows, one on each end of the "season", they'd still be covered...
