I think people who are giving the Loose Goose the benefit of the doubt are being pretty forgiving, and perhaps a bit naive. I mean the description is pretty specific, $1 domestics with no listed restrictions... other bars if they had $1 Bud Lights, would simply say "$1 Bud Light" but they don't. I can't imagine a business that makes almost all of their profits on booze would have such an oversight on accident and after being repeatedly asked by patrons doesn't fix the problem, especially when the rest of the web site is updated frequently.
It's fraud plain and simple... The proprietor is responsible for honoring an advertised price. While in college I worked in a number of retail establishments and when there was a mismatch in the marked or advertised price every place I worked for honored the lower price. At best it's 'bait and switch' by getting folks do drive around to the back side of a shabbily constructed and oddly located bar with the enticements of a pretty great happy hour special, only to be told AFTER the check comes that oh by the way... the price we told the world isn't even close to being right.
