Earlier this morning, while listening to 107.5FM radio, I heard an update on the legal injustices heaped upon six Africn American male high school students in Jena, LA. It seems that school fights resulted after a lback student asked his school principal if he could sit under a "white only" tree on the school campus. Some white students got mad, hung 3 crosses on the tree. They were suspended for this act, not expelled.
White students taunted the black students about this, a fight ensued, and a black student was beaten up. No charges filed agaians the white students.
A white male student was beaten up by black students. He went to the hospital for a black eye and some bruises. He was released 2 hours later. The black students were charged with aggravated assualt - this is a reduced charge from attempted murder. One African American male student has been tried and convicted - he gets 22 years. There are 3 more African American male students awaiting trial.
The DA in LA is quoted as telling the black students "I can take away your life with the stroke of a pen".

thanks for listening!
