ok, that is foul

+1 to uber foul, that's just nasty!
Yeah, I've read quite a few reviews of this in the past few months. The concept sounds unique enough, but I don't know if I could sit through it.
That being said, I'm totally looking forward to the 2015 release of The Human Centipede Part 8!
I'd say it's not any worse than anything lars von trier has put out.
I guess I'm a bit behind on my twisted horror flicks because I just heard about this today.
Have absolutely no desire to see this other than that nagging ability to rubber neck when you pass a seven car pile up.
Sewing three people together ass-to-mouth so that you feed the first and the rear two people survive by eating the passed-through feces.
I'll pass.
BLARF. Maybe I'm just too old but I prefer a little escapism with my moviegoing experience, not punishment.
I don't know.. it wouldn't be that bad as long as you were the head of the centipede.
Read an interview with the filmmaker.. Supposedly he spoke with a surgeon to make sure that the operation could work and that the subjects would survive. Pretty nasty idea though.. Not sure I'm up to it.
There's no way they would survive. I asked my doctor.
will not be seeing this. grossed out just by reading this thread
Someone mentioned Lars Von Trier..
At least Lars has some sort of moral principle he's trying to deconstruct. You know, like the evil inside us always has the upper hand in winning out over good for control of our actions etc. etc.
This movie though....if censorship ever had a legitimate reason to exist it's because of movies like this. No. Fucking. Point.
I watched it on IFC On Demand and it was actually pretty awesome. The concept is disgusting but the execution is not nearly as graphic as you'd have thought. There was some bad acting in certain parts, and it reminded me of 'Hard Candy' a lot, but believe me when I tell you I'm pumped to see what happens if they actually go through with the 12-piece 'pede in the second sequence.

I'm sure that this director would say there is some point to this...I can't imagine s/he would be all, "I thought it was kind of gross and cool".

Censorship doesn't mean a complete "ban." The rating system is a way of censorship, TV is full of censorship etc.
# Censorship is the suppression of speech or deletion of communicative material which may be considered objectionable, harmful, sensitive, or ...
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Censorship
# The use of state or group power to control freedom of expression, such as passing laws to prevent media from being published or propagated
en.wiktionary.org/wiki/censorship
# censor - ban: forbid the public distribution of ( a movie or a newspaper)
# censor - someone who censures or condemns
# censor - subject to political, religious, or moral censorship; "This magazine is censored by the government"

I'd much rather have uncensored media of all kinds.
Free speech means people get to say things I don't like. Which is OK, because that also means I get to say things others don't like.
