My suggestion SD, go again. If you had a good meal with good service at a nearby joint that others are raving about, that's not bad in itself and you're hardly taking a chance to go back...and maybe then you'll be blown away.

Review: Explorers Club Brunch

Checked it out last night. Ambiance is great, not too bright, not too dark. The place was about 75% full at 6:15pm on a Wednesday. Service was great too, prompt and knowledgeable. We ordered the plantians for an appetizer and they were great, the sauce was a sorta spicy yogurt. I had the Fettuccini Caliente with Peppers, Onions, Corn, Chicken and Spicy Tomato Chipotle Cream Sauce which was really good. It reminded me of Betty's Chipotle Chicken Rottini (which is not longer on the menu, boo). My female companion had the Pan Seared Vegetables with Gorgonzola Cream and Cornbread Crust which looked good but I didn't try (I usually do but never got around to it last night). Overall it was a great experience and resonably priced. I will definately be back. I really want to check out brunch some weekend.
