This movie is getting some crazy good reviews. Hopefully checking it out tomorrow night myself.

I saw it this past weekend. VERY, VERY good. Jack is at the top of his game, and the rest of the cast is GREAT. Highly Recommend!!!!

Yes, saw this on Friday. Excellent movie, I felt Leonardo Di'Caprio stole the show. It was 2.5 hours long, but held my attention the entire time.

Saw it Wednesday night, loved it!! I thought Alec Baldwin was awesome!!

GREAT Movie!!!! I see Jack getting put up for an Oscar.

This is easily the best movie of the year. Jack and even Leo will get nominated for this.

I saw it yesterday. Leo definitely stole the show. Great flick.

I agree.
I saw it at the Arena Grand, and while I was disappointed that they apparently charge extra to sit in the balcony now  , I saw it with some great friends and we all enjoyed it! :D

I saw this movie at the Arena Grand too. Great theatre, but unfortunately the crowd was more suburban Westerville teeny bopper, than sophisticated Downtown urbanite that night. The two dudes in front of me were whispering and giggling the entire show...must have had a man-crush on DiCaprio.

I HATED IT!!!
Just kidding - I liked it too. ++++

More importantly... will Scorsese finally get a WIN?

I thought they've always charged more for balcony seats. I've only ever watched a handful of movies from the balcony (Matrix II, LoTR II, Harry Potter I, etc) and it's been worth it for those sorts of movies on opening night. :D

Hmm... maybe they have. I remember sitting up there for a sneak preview once, but I guess those were free passes which would explain why we didn't pay extra.
I think it's ridiculous to charge like $3.50 more to sit up there.
In my opinion Lennox > Arena Grand any day of the week.

I only did the balcony once and I thought it was over rated. The best thing about it was that since the seats are reserved you can show up like 2 minutes before the movie starts and get a good seat.

It's a little steep... but nice to have that option. Really impressive for a dating spot. 8)

I have to disagree with you there. Seeing movies at the Arena Grand on Tuesday for $5 beats the Lennox for $8. :P
Plus, I'd rather support a locally owned & operated theater than a national chain. Especially when the local chain is CHEAPER.

I think its great just to have so many options close. I usually go to the Grand because it is closest, but if the times don't work I can drive a little further to the Lennox which always has a time I can do. Also, the Gateway option which I kind of thought was a bit much when it first opened (over saturation) has really proved convenient. I go there all the time to see movies that aren't playing anywhere else (Thanks for smoking, and a few others come to mind).

Yeah, I didn't see myself going to the Gateway much, but I hit that theater pretty frequently. Plus their midnight movies every weekend are always a great option!

If by "dating spot" you mean, "place to get your D sucked", then yes I wholeheartedly agree. However, you have to question whether the act in question is worth the $3.50. In most cases I'd hope it would be.

Add $3.50 for the balcony and you're at more than $8. I just like the theaters/screens better in the Lennox, I guess.
Arena Grand is nice, don't get me wrong.

Yes, I know you would! :D

Hell, as the local cheapskate I love the place on Bethel Rd. that has 50 cent ticket days every Tuesday...but would never bring a date there. I've actually decided that movies and dating can't go together. The minute a female starts asking me plot questions or talking in general during a movie I've lost all interest, so I try to avoid the situation.

Paul, it's funny to me that you are complaining about ticket prices at the Arena Grand. Don't you just use your expired student ID anyway to get in?
