Casino annexation complete tonight

The Columbus City Council will take the final vote tonight to annex the Hollywood Casino site to the West Side.
While the annexation worked its way through the city and county's three-month process, the city council agreed to spend up to a third of its casino tax revenues to finance the $42.5 million public purchase of Nationwide Arena from Nationwide and millions more to operate it through 2039.
