most of the dj's that are in this were asked to be in it (i can speak for myself, ductape, five 50, samauri and legend in that regard). it started out that mike's hard lemonade was running the battle solely and were using cantina as the spot to host it but cantina wanted more control over it. mike's had even chosen the initial set of dj's which included some that were eventually left off the final list. i truthfully don't know why so i cant speak to that point, as ive not heard it been said, but wanted everyone to know it really wasn't a first come first serve basis. good luck to everyone who is in it though, and here's to hoping i don't finish last LOL

And it all becomes clear now.
This will be good to know if we ever see another "All Columbus" DJ Battle.
Perhaps, relabeling it as an "invitational", or having a little disclosure up front will help cut back on the "bad" publicity and public shaming.
But that is just an opinion.
Possibly a good lesson for a worker in the Social Media field.A couple other lessons that come to mind without searching for them would be the company selling pizza in bars, the mattress by phone guy, bars posting multiple listings for the same event, craigslist posters that post links on the message board and then disappear, and stuff like that there.
