Thanks for the nightmares Katie!
This sounds like a really nice date movie.
Finally!
Wait a minute... Is 'Teeth' the CU movie outing this month?

I just don't know how this came up as an idea for a movie!
weird.
BASED ON A TRUE STORY?

I read on imdb that it's based on some legend. But still...
Yeah. There's a phobia for this thats been around for a while. Every once in a while it gets referenced. I remember in college it coming up during an analysis of the movie for Pink Floyd's 'The Wall.'
There is a sci fi book that I read years ago that had characters with the same issue... Julian May's The Golden Torc series, I think...
ah yesh, the good ole Vagina Dentata!
What I want to know is, once she knows her box has teeth... why does she continue to go around having sex with people?

Because she feels the need to do (in the literal sense) what women have been doing to men metaphorically since the start of time?
I KID, I KID!
This is the creepiest threat to twigs and berries in movies since Hard Candy.
Hmm I thought this was out already. Been hearing good things about it though.
I feel bad for any guy that slept with that chick in the movie.
I first heard about this on Howard Stern. I thought it was a joke but I guess it's really a movie!
I wonder what kind of a dental plan that girl has? :)

Ah, that's part of the fun. I saw this at Sundance last year and can't believe it's taken so long to hit the rest of the country. It's really gross and ridiculous and entertaining - way more balls-out B-movie than the festival pedigree suggests. Jess Weixler is terrific in it.
Vaguely interesting, vaguely Columbus-related fact:
Teeth writer/director Mitchell Lichtenstein is the son of onetime OSU student/instructor (who, I'm told, dabbled in the arts...) Roy Lichtenstein.
