This is the first year that I’ve been able to attend and I’m really looking forward to it. I’ve heard such great things about this event, and the new venue sounds wonderful.

Wowzers, so much delicious sounding food and so many things I’m looking forward to trying. I may have to starve myself for a few days beforehand. We tasted the Lamb Tagine with Sesame Seeds, Almonds and Citrus Rice at Rigsby’s on our tour today and it was really good.

Yeah, 50 restaurants for $100 is a pretty good deal for the crazy amount of high quality food you can find there. ;)

Had an amazing time last night at this event! It was really hot inside the Audubon, but the new venue was a great fit. Don’t think we had to wait in any lines for more than a minute or two, and all of the food was nop notch.

Some personal favorites of the night included:

Cuban Pork Pinxto (pulled pork, smoked ham, provolone cheese, mustard and sweet pickle on baguette) from Barcelona

Saffron and Paprika Spiced Lamb Meat Balls with Almond sauce (pincho style); Green Chili from Barrio

Ohio Beef Carpaccio Roll from DeepWood

Pork Belly, Sunchokes, Citrus Marmalade from Due Amici

Shrimp and Grits from G. Michael’s Bistro

Cajun Meatloaf Sandwich: Spicy Cajun Meatloaf, Caramelized Onions, Parrano Cheese, Remoulade, Sauce, Lettuce and Tomato on Challah Rolls from Katzinger’s

Ohio Spelt Berry Risotto with Local Shiitakes and Asparagus from Local Matters

Marzipan Peach Florentines from Mozart’s Bakery

    Macarons from Pistacia Vera

Scallop Pomponnette: Bonne Femme Warm Scallop Mousse served with a Light White Wine Sauce from The Refectory

Rockmill Ale Braised Bison from Shaw’s Restaurant and Inn
    Blue Cheese Slaw

French Toast Mini Cupcakes with Maple Bacon Cream Cheese Frosting from Surly Girl Saloon

Amarula Tiramisu Cannoli from Trattoria Roma

Crab and Corn Chowder from Vino Vino

OYO Vodka Jello Shot from Alana’s

The two OYO cocktails and the watershed vodka cocktail! :D
