Hope you will try some of the others. There are lots of great trucks on the west side.
Without a doubt!

Taco Truck Tour SP10 sounds like a huge success in not just attendance, but also in forming some potential longterm relationships and general goodwill towards the vendors as well.
Congratulations Bethia, Andy and Jim for putting together such a well organized event, and thanks for making tasty ethnic eats like these accessible to the masses. You are one of the many elements that makes this this city great to live in, and make me proud to say, "I'm a Columbusite."
On my way back into Columbus I hit up Michoacana Market #4 for some tacos, a torta and a Honduran Tropical banana soda. Not a taco truck, but good all the same. It provided great shelter when the sky decided to open up as well! I hope that didn't catch up with you on the bike trip back home.

@bman - There's some great taco trucks by me on Cleveland Avenue, which aren't far from you as well. Don Pedros is probably the closest.

Maybe next weekend if you are free we can meet there ... would be fun.

Michoacana Market is awesome! They have the best produce and it is much less expensive and much better than Kroghetto. It is the only place I can find "stuff worthy" jalapenos.
Funny thing is that I participated in a opinion survey thing at Kroghetto about 2 months ago. They were trying to determine the community reaction to including Hispanic-based items to their upcoming remodel. Most people there were against it. After listening for a while, I finally told them that Kroger has a right to gear their store towards the needs of the neighborhood. They are proposing things like a tortilla bar. That sounds great to me.
Maybe one day, the "old time" folks here will embrace the wondeful things around them.

I can find fresh and jarred cactus, fresh and dried peppers, and other unique items. And what I can't find there, the Mexican markets have it and much more.
I do hope that some of the Old Timers you are referring to experience the good things in their own back yard.
