Magic Hat #9, Sapporo and Peroni would be fun!

Just added Crispin, for those who have never heard of Crispin it is a new Cider Beer that is drank like Magners thats right the proper Crispin pour is on ice. It's pretty good espicially if you have the bartender add a splash of Apple Pucker. Sounds odd but it is something everyone needs to try at least once.

Magic Hat #9, Sapporo and Peroni would be fun!I've been pissed since Molson took over brewing Sapporo and altering the taste and receipe for American pallets. (I drank it because I liked the original taste. Now it tastes like Molson)
Carry a good Scotch Ale d@mnit. I live 4 blocks away and have to drive all the way to 'The Pub' in Polaris to get a Scotch Ale. Carry McEwan's and my visits will go up 25 fold.

Magic Hat #9 is in the talk. Sapporo is one I can look into I will have to find out who I get that from. I have never heard of Peroni, what is it?

I do love a good Japanese beer so Sapporo is one we had not thought of but I will throw it out there

I have not been there since St. Pat's of 09...so I don't recall: do you have a patio? Does it face Front, or the other road?

I'd suggest a tap for Bell's seasonals ... (mmm...Oberon)
Maybe a Great Lakes tap? Could go the seasonal route with that one too, since it would let you offer Conway's Irish Ale when it's available.
Bellhaven (if the Irish-Scottish rivalry isn't too tough)
Troegenator Double Bock
Rasputin

Bells YES! my Bar Manager says that is one that will be going on. We are trying to keep one Great Lakes on at all times but it all is based on if it sells for us or not. We have had issues in the past with sales of Great Lakes here not sure why but we want to keep one on

This summer I want to know what everyone thinks. We will be doing a Das Boot special with Warsteiner Hefe-Weizen. Prices are still being discussed but the idea is on Friday and Saturday nights you can come in and purchase a 1 liter boot filled with Warsteiner for x amount and you can refill it for x amount you keep the boot and can bring it back with you every Friday and Saturday night to refill and drink all night. The boots are 1 liter glass Warsteiner branded boots. What does everyone think about something like that?

I will give both of the Scotch Ales to my Bar Manager and see what he thinks.

Newcastle
Lagunitas Czech Pils
Shiner BockThis could be nice, considering I work in the hood, and pretty much avoided the bar due to the prices. Kudos!

Peroni is italian, light, fantastic for the summer!

Yumyum have ever had Old Speckled Hen? It's very similar to Boddingtons, its a fine cream ale, its nitro like Boddingtons. I enjoy a Boddingtons every now and then myself but I actually like the Old Speckled Hen just as much.
I will have to look into Peroni, is a light lager or closer to a shandy?Posted 2 years ago #
