All i can say is Kihachi. Not the most romantic but best in town.
Actually, i would book two flights to Chicago and go to Sushi Samba. The BEST ever. Well worth the expense.

We went to Akai Hana tonight as recommended and had a great time. The service was really good and my kid got a cute little kiddie meal with noodle soup and sweet egg sushi.
@Twixlen, we'll make Yoshi's our next stop and report back on that as well.
If you order the Tuna Lover roll at Sushi Ting, they actually arrange the slices on the plate into heart shapes around the plate. I thought that was really cute / romantic, so if I go there on a date, I tend to order it.
Sushi Ting would be my top choice. Shoku is great too, I actually proposed there.
