Ugh. That Audi "Green Police" advertisement just gave talk radio and Fox News their anti-cap-and-trade straw man for the week. Dumb.

Worst - Babies -Etrade....all of them. Who likes those?? Awful.
Best - Carmax - Animals turning to the camera. Love it.
I missed the first quarter. So a 1985 bears commercial. I need to find that one.

I thought it was a pretty bad year for commercials. There were maybe one or two that I found remotely entertaining. It seemed like every break was like 2 commercials for random CBS shows and one real commercial.

How much money did Doritos spend? They had a different commercial during nearly every single break.

Bud Light's gone wayyyyyyyyy downhill.

Doritos totally overdoing it...
My favorites were the Betty White/Abe Vigoda Snickers commercial, Simpsons Coke, the Carmax f/ the Dramatic "Chipmunk", and the Oprah/Letterman/Leno probably got the biggest laugh of the night from me.
Least favorites were the Go Daddy commercials. So ridiculous. If you're gonna use sex to sell your product, don't you actually, you know, go a little beyond a G rating? Are people actually going to their site to try and see "more" ?
YouTube has most of them here: http://www.youtube.com/superbowl

I liked the Google ad, but it didn't fit into the context for me. Seemed too out of place.

Ah the 85 Bears was great. Just saw the teasers from Singletary and McMahon. I still have the super bowl shuffle on VHS.

I thought the t-pain (sp?) bud light commercial was hilarious.
My favorite though was seeing walker, during the superbowl!!

Yeah Doritos spent a ton but I only cared for a couple of them.
The little boy laying the smack down "don't touch my mama...or my Doritos" was funny.
And I like the Kiss and mini kiss one for Dr. Pepper.
But I agree, Betty White and the Snickers was my favorite. I thought Abe Vigoda was dead, glad to see he's still around.Posted 2 years ago # -
No one has talked about Betty White??? She was funny as heck in the commerical. I did like the Bud Light commerical with the home being built out of Bud Light cans. The best of that was when the guy went into the Bud Light fridge and said "There is Bud Light in the Bud Light fridge made out of Bud Light"....that was good.

I liked the Tpain one.
As much as I like pretty girls. The godaddy ones have become very tired.

Thing is, Doritos spent very little on their ads. Just like last season, all of their ads were dreamed up by regular people, like us, and not a big expensive ad firm, so they saved a ton of money. I really like the "don't touch my mama" ad, though maybe just because that was such a familiar scene for me. And the snickers ad with Betty White, well, she's one of my favorites and I instantly love anything she's in. So, yeah, I loved the snickers ad also. It was fun watching the girlfriend joke come out of Betty's mouth.
And godaddy is so tired with the same theme. It's time to switch up the campaign.

I have to admit that I got excited seeing Dr. Pierre Chang in a labcoat in the one Bud Light commercial.
But then I realized that it had nothing to do with LOST and was actually a Bud Light commercial and got disappointed.
