Sunday liquor laws were the biggest shock I had moving to Columbus from DC. As someone who works all weekend, I want nothing more than to wake up around 10am on Sunday and go get brunch and mimosas! I am glad Columbus is finally moving forward with this and realizing it really hurts businesses. Maybe we will see better Sunday brunches now!

SWEET!

Perhaps this is a step toward allowing people over 21 to buy any kind of alcohol they want, whenever stores are open?
Or is that just a crazy idea.

11:00am is clearly too early for this guy.
Get the Flash Video Thank you.
This is awesome.
How could they not have called the police, though?
Geez.

Now I am just waiting for the bars hours to get extended to 3am on weekends rather than 2am. Its also an interesting question for the future of mass transit. From my experience, cities with a more lax view of alcohol have mass transit (ie DC and NY) because they dont want people driving. Thats why the metro runs when it does in DC...thoughts?

I'm apologize for giving the impression that I was doing anything other than taking the opportunity to post that video.

I'd just settle for a real liquor selection at area stores...

Yea!!! We can have Sunday brunch a little earlier. Perfect! Brunch around noon with mimosa's (well, actually a psycho mary for the hubby). Followed by viewing of open houses (which start at 1:00). Ah, livin' the life :)

Truly a small step in the right direction.

All right. Start nibbling on brunch and sipping coffee at 10:30, and get my mimosa or Michelada by 11:00. Brunch is instantly more enjoyable thanks to the one hour change.
