In short - bad ass!! I was left looking like this after my viewing this weekend - :shock:
I highly recommend this film. the cinematography is spectacular. the use of colors and sound effects had me saying "oh, shit! damn! that's tight!" many, many times.
The storyline is one that does take some attention to fully grasp, but...isnt that the point of watching a movie??
go, rent, watch, enjoy.

HELLS YAH!!!! Just saw that tonight on the Xbox 360 with netflix OND. It was SWEET! The main BB was from memoirs of a Geisha as the head mistress, and the White Clan's leader was also the lead role for Casshern.
I couldn't quit place anyone else except for Tarantino of course.

i hadnt seen Geisha yet, so i didnt recognize her. i am happy i could place anyone though - having an unknown cast in a great movie is always a big PLUS for me.
so, do you smell sequel? we couldnt decide...i guess they left it open, but that is just his style too, so i dont know what to think. my guess would be no.

That would explain why Netflix keeps recommending it to me. I've been ignoring it because I thought it was a fictional biography of Django Reinhardt framed as a remake of Tampopo.
You know, now that I say that out loud, I don't know why I've been ignoring it.
