So being in love won out and I've moved away to the West side! I'm now looking to sublet my room in a fantastic Victorian home near the intersection of King and Highland within walking distance of OSU South campus and the Short North shopping and restaurants. The bedroom is giant, and I've had bedrooms on campus smaller than the closet. There is a large living room, kitchen with stainless steel appliances and gas range, dining room, and a large unfinished basement with commercial-sized washer and dryer. My former roommate is a non-traditional and very professional student at OSU, he's very knowledgeable about the city (if you need a handy resource), and is also basically a ghost in the place spending most of his time in his room when he's home. Other amenities include a three car garage and a very cool back yard with a hot tub. Rent is $550 per month and 1/2 of the utilities, my former roommate is totally oblivious to who moves in - so basically anyone that wants to look at the place can send me a PM here at CU and I'll give you a tour of the place mainly evenings and weekends.
Best part of the whole deal, if the landlord approves you for a sublet I'm paying December's rent for you and not requiring you to pay a deposit. The current lease runs to September 2010. A December move-in is a really sweet deal for everyone involved!
