Might wanna skip the flash animation and head straight to the data:

Rank (from
most stress to
least) Metropolitan area Stress index
Metro
unemployment rate
(June 2010)
1 Detroit 9.026 14.3%
2 Los Angeles 5.899 11.6%
3 Cleveland 5.146 9.3%
4 Riverside, Calif. 5.105 14.4%
5 St. Louis 4.737 9.9%
6 New York City 4.734 8.8%
7 New Orleans 4.621 8.2%
8 Chicago 4.366 10.6%
9 Birmingham 3.916 10.0%
10 Miami-Fort Lauderdale 3.527 11.7%
Number one most stressed out is Detroit. Yeah, I'd be stressed if I lived in a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
Columbus comes in at 34... which is good.
