The scary thing is that it will probably roll right on through and get passed, after everyone has thrown all of their special little projects into it.

Combine this with four cabinet appointees with tax problems, one with pay-to-play allegations, about a dozen former lobbyists appointed to positions despite campaign pledges, and more POW renditions, and I bet there are a few disappointed people out there.

I dunno, I'm more neutral on this one. Given its impact on our local (Ohio) economy and the effect that the auto has on the national economy, I think its one of the more direct ways to get cash flowing quickly. The downside is that a lot of it will flow overseas.
