hey guys.
my boyfriend's 25th birthday is coming up and he wants a steak for dinner. i'm looking for somewhere in the campus-short north-downtown area; we don't own a car and will be more than likely taking a taxi. so that rules out the top in bexley, which was one of my original ideas. it doesn't have to be a steakhouse, but somewhere with a good steak. and i'm looking to spend no more than about $100 for dinner.

^^ Morton's Porterhouse is probably the best thing ever thought of.
48 oz of pure bliss (you split it between two people)
However, that, plus a couple of sides and a dessert (the lava cake is worth checking out) can set you back at least 150 after tip.
And that's WITHOUT wine.

yeah 150 is a bit beyond the budget. keep the suggestions coming, though...like i said, it doesn't have to be a specific steakhouse. i had steak at the brownstone that was really reasonably priced and excellent, for example.
i might go for that special though! WAY more food than i can eat, but the boyfriend would be happy.

Thing about Spice, if it's early or a weeknight, it's like a whole different deal. So doing a dinner and drinks there, even on a Saturday, if you're out by 10 it would be cool...even 11 maybe, unless you decide you're having fun.
