Anyone else in town taking the AI, ML, or DB courses? I'm doing AI and ML.

Yes Yes, they are. Well, it's going okay on ML, have to up my scores on a couple of quizzes. Got a 92% on the first AI homework, and now the Bayes stuff is messing my brain, but very cool. The two are very different in how their presented, but arguably appropriate for each of the topics. There's a lot of use of the interactive features of YouTube, putting simple quizzes on top of hand-drawn problem descriptions, and then you get a score in real time, it's pretty hip!

Very cool. Looks similar to MIT's Open Courseware: http://ocw.mit.edu/index.htm

Well, the homework is graded, and the structure is completely different than the program at the school, and the YouTube videos are interactive, and there are due dates. The ML class rewrote the materials for Octave rather than Matlab, as Octave is free. Anywho, there's a lot of change happening in this space, and there's no college credit for any of this, so there's that.
