So for those of you who get tired of the BIG hoppy beers- this one is for you. We are very pleased to have the Short North Bagel Deli setting up& making steamed bagel sandwiches too! It's like beer + pumpkinz!
And we're gon' drink it.I'll be there tonight with Ms. Columbus Music Co-op and my beer shoes on (all of my shoes are beer shoes).
Ah-HA! My plan worked. I knew if the bagels didn't get you there, the pumpkin ale would close the deal for sure!! ;) See ya later mama!

I'm just glad you guys still have booze left after we left Saturday night. Most painful Sunday EVAR.

we were supposed to stuff urban scrawl goodie bags but instead we're going to stuff ourselves. with beer and bagels.

Being a seasonal drinker, do you think I'm betraying my standards by drinking a rich and creamy oatmeal stout on a beautiful Summer day? Am I cheating on my wheat beers? :]
You are tempting me, SJT.
I've never had Ichabod on tap, but the bottled version has far less pumpkin and cinnamon flavor than many pumpkin ales I've tried, and a lot more clove and nutmeg, almost savory flavor. A rare hoppy finish for a pumpkin ale, too.
If you can get this Akron ale on tap, I'll drop everything and take the quickest route to your sweet bar:

Ha! Looks good Patient Zero. I will look into it. If you don't feel like cheating yet- I still have Oberon& Barley's Bloodthirst Wheat on (made wth Blood oranges). You could always have one of those& a bagel sandwich ;) Cheers!

I can't get enough of Angelo's Bloodthirst Wheat! What a reason to visit you tonight. So many choices today: The last Heritage Concert Series and Downtown Live Concert Series today, Walker has a meetup at J. Gumbo's, you got your cask bagel thing going on! What's a Columbusite supposed to do? Savor the moment I believe.
As long as you are looking for Fall brews, check this one out too. Pumpkin Ale aged in bourbon barrels:
