A Special Evening To Celebrate Mother's Day And Learn To Make Your Own Candle
It’s simple, really and a great way to share a special evening with Mom.
Just in time for Mother's Day, the Candle With A Cause team will be holding a class on how to make your own candles on Tuesday, May 8th, 2012 from 6:30 - 8:30PM. You will be shown the basics of candle making as well as the steps to make your very own candle using a Camelot Cellars Winery recycled wine bottle that you'll go home with that evening.
Mother's Day package, for $40, will include the candle she makes. She will also receive a glass of wine from Camelot Cellars menu, a small gift from Short North Piece of Cake and her choice of a bottle of Camelot Cellars fruit wine.
Mother's Day Guests, for $25, will get the candle they make and also receive a glass of wine from Camelot Cellars' menu.
Candle with a Cause is comprised of a group of friends and neighbors that care deeply about our environment and our community. That's why we donate a portion of our proceeds to local non-profit organizations and make our delectable candles out of natural soy wax and up-cycled bottles from local restaurants and businesses.
On top of that, we carefully handcraft our candles out of recycled wine bottles from local businesses and natural soy wax to create the best, most environmentally friendly candle we can. We hope you enjoy our product and feel as good as we do about creating a brighter community, one candle at a time.
As well as a glass of wine for everyone who purchases a ticket to the class, Camelot Cellars Winery will have drink specials for the evening as well as offerings from their new Plates menu.
A portion of the proceeds from the class, as well as candles available for purchase, will be donated to the Columbus Blue Jackets Fund, which supports pediatric cancer patients and their families.
