STAY Town Hall with Mayor Coleman- Oct. 10th

    Don’t miss this important event! October 10th, 6:30-7:30pm @ Southwood Elementary School (1500 S. 4th St.)

We are excited to have Mayor Coleman and Dr. J. Daniel Good (Interim Superintendent for Columbus City Schools) join us on October 10th for a Town Hall regarding South Side schools and the impact of the proposed Levy that will be on the November ballot. (By the way…if you want to learn more about the Levy and what it entails, we will be sending out a resource email soon with more information so you can make an informed decision.)

Ann Fisher (host of All Sides with Ann Fisher on 89.7 WOSU NPR News) will be moderating this important discussion.

Mark your calendars and spread the word! Stay connected with our Facebook page for any further details:

Save the Date for Thursday, October 10th!

Have you heard there will be a levy on the ballot in November? Wonder what this means for our schools? Not sure what this means or how it will affect you?

Whether you are against the levy, in favor of it, undecided, or not even sure what it is, you don’t want to miss our next STAY meeting on October 10th. We are hosting a Town Hall meeting with Mayor Michael Coleman and Dr. Dan Good (Interim Superintendent for Columbus City Schools) as our guests. Mayor Coleman and Dr. Good will be talking about education on the South Side and how Issues 50 and 51 (and the proposed November levy) may impact our neighborhood and our schools. We are excited to have Ann Fisher (host of WOSU’s All Sides with Ann Fisher) as our moderator for the evening.

A portion of this evening will be a Q&A moderated by Ann Fisher. Please submit questions you have regarding Issues 50/51 (the levy) here: southsidestay@gmail.com

Or you can submit your question on our FB or Twitter pages. We will compile these for Ms. Fisher to use in the Q&A portion of our evening. While we may not be able to have every question answered in our meeting, we will do our best!

    When: October 10th, 6:30-7:30pm
Where: Southwood Elementary School (1500 S. 4th St. in Merion Village)

RSVP on our Facebook Event Page (and use this event page to invite your friends and help us spread the word!)

    Also…

We need a few more volunteers to help represent STAY at the Merion Village Festival this coming Sunday. If you can spare an hour sometime between 12 and 6pm on Sunday, we would love to have you help out! Let us know if you’re available!
